In Bulandet Miljøfisk, we build up each other. The Bulandet method is based on the Norwegian advantages such as the environment and water quality in the area.

Equally important is the expertise people bring from the coastal areas. We work closely with both the local community and the industry in the region so that together we can build a strong County for the next generations.

Arnt Henning Blom is the first person you will meet when you go ashore at Værlandet. He runs the local grocery Joker and Jungeltelegrafen Café located by the ferry dock.

«We never thought the store would be too small when we built it, but now we have expanded twice. Finally we made a kitchen for the cafe».

Jungeltelegrafen – the jungle telegraph – is exactly that, a meeting place all year round and an unofficial Tourist Information Center.

The dream of pioneering aquaculture solutions, and the desire to develop his expertise in aquaculture, led Egor from Arkhangelsk in northwestern Russia to the role of assistant operations manager in Bulandet. The rotation scheme allows him to combine a competence-enhancing everyday life with leisure interests and sports.
